Make your dog famous and for a good cause!
Vote for your favorite, or if you think you have a star at home, enter it to the competition yourself!(submissions open until the 15th).
This contest is hosted by Fido Solutions with the aim to find a winner dog chosen by voters to cast into a Fido Ad, the voting works as the following: while no registration is needed, users can vote for multiple favorites but only once per day. As readers might have already guessed, the Lions Foundation programs aim for the training of Dog guides for people who are blind and visually impaired, in addition the Lions Foundation also trains Dog Guides to meet the needs of Canadians with hearing and other medical or physical disabilities. All programs are offered at no charge to the client, but future care and maintenance become the responsibility of the Dog Guide recipient.

Owner Cathie Bell says:
“Mya has over 60 tricks. She does handstands, plays basket ball and will get a kleenex for me when I sneeze. On top of this she is a Certified St. John AmbulanceTherapy Dog and a Canine Good Neighbour.”
Dogs - The best and brightest
This week I'd like to make a post about dog intelligence, so what is it? Dog intelligence is their ability to learn, think and solve problems, it determines behavior and interactions of our pet animals but it is difficult to gauge as we can rarely and accurately classify certain actions of our pets as sprung from their intellect or mere animal behavior.
